Password reset
Section titled “Password reset”How do I reset my password?
Section titled “How do I reset my password?”- Go to the login page at
portal.omnixi.app - Click Forgot your password?
- Enter your email address
- Check your inbox for a reset link (check spam/junk if you don’t see it within a few minutes)
- Click the link and create a new password
The reset link expires after 24 hours. If it expires, request a new one from the forgot password flow.
Why won’t my password work?
Section titled “Why won’t my password work?”- Check you’re using the correct email address
- Caps lock may be on — passwords are case-sensitive
- Try clearing your browser cache or using an incognito window
- If you’ve recently reset your password, make sure you’re using the newest one
Locked account
Section titled “Locked account”My account is locked. What do I do?
Section titled “My account is locked. What do I do?”Your account locks after 5 failed login attempts. This is a security measure to protect your account.
To unlock it:
- Go to the login page and click Forgot your password?
- Enter your email to receive a unlock link
- Click the link in your email — this will unlock your account and let you set a new password
If you don’t receive the unlock email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact your account administrator.
How can I prevent my account from locking again?
Section titled “How can I prevent my account from locking again?”- Use a password manager to avoid mistyping passwords
- Enable two-factor authentication — this gives you backup codes you can use if you forget your password
- Ask your administrator to check if your organisation has SSO enabled, which bypasses password-based login
Switching between Portal users
Section titled “Switching between Portal users”Can I access multiple Omnixi accounts?
Section titled “Can I access multiple Omnixi accounts?”Yes, if you have accounts linked to the same email address. After logging in, you’ll see an account selector in the top-right corner of the Portal.
Click the selector to switch between accounts without logging out and back in.
I have multiple email addresses — can I link them?
Section titled “I have multiple email addresses — can I link them?”Each Omnixi account is tied to a specific email address. If you need access to multiple accounts with different emails, you’ll receive separate invitations for each.
Contact your account administrator if you need access added to an account.
Two-factor authentication
Section titled “Two-factor authentication”What is two-factor authentication (2FA)?
Section titled “What is two-factor authentication (2FA)?”2FA adds an extra layer of security by requiring something you know (your password) and something you have (your phone). Even if someone learns your password, they can’t access your account without your phone.
How do I enable 2FA?
Section titled “How do I enable 2FA?”- Go to Settings → Security
- Click Enable two-factor authentication
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.)
- Enter the 6-digit code to confirm
- Save your backup codes in a safe place
What if I lose my phone?
Section titled “What if I lose my phone?”Use one of your backup codes to log in. If you’ve run out of backup codes, contact your account administrator to disable 2FA so you can set it up again with a new phone.
Session management
Section titled “Session management”How do I log out of the Portal?
Section titled “How do I log out of the Portal?”Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Log out. For security, the Portal automatically logs you out after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Can I see where I’m logged in?
Section titled “Can I see where I’m logged in?”Yes. Go to Settings → Security → Active sessions to see all devices currently logged into your account.
From there you can:
- See when each session started and the device/browser used
- Revoke individual sessions
- Revoke all sessions except the current one
Someone else is logged into my account. What do I do?
Section titled “Someone else is logged into my account. What do I do?”- Go to Settings → Security → Active sessions
- Click Revoke all other sessions to kick them out
- Change your password immediately
- Enable two-factor authentication to prevent future unauthorized access
If you can’t access your account, contact your account administrator or raise a support ticket.
